Shakira Birthday Project 2012
Wie bisher jedes Jahr wird es auch für 2012 wieder einige Projekte zu Shakiras Geburtstag am 02. Februar geben. Beim ersten das diese Woche gestartet ist, ist Shakira-Addicted.net als Support-Seite mit dabei 
Bis zum 15. Januar 2012 könnt ihr eure Grafik-, Video- und/oder Audio-Botschaft an shakirabirthday[at]gmail.com schicken. Gebt dabei euren Name, euer Herkunftsland, die Sprache der Audio-/Video-Botschaft und ggf. einen Download-Link dazu an.

February 2nd is only a few months away, and you all know what that means...
... Shakira is going to turn 35!
For Shakira's past few birthdays, Ive organized mass, world-wide projects asking fans across the internet to record themselves wishing Shakira a happy birthday, and/or to even sing the traditional Happy Birthday to You song in their native language. Each year, Ive gotten tons of submissions in audio and video recordings, along with photos, from all over the world, and the final birthday videos have been sent to Shakira and posted on Shakira.com!
So, as Shakira fans, we certainly want Shakira to have the happiest of 35th birthdays, and Id say the last projects wishes certainly helped this past year with an amazing tour and album.

Here's what to do:
Record a birthday greeting for Shakira (audio or video). You can also send in a photo of you with your Shakira collection, with Shakira herself, at a concert, with a sign for her , etc. (anything Shakira-related with you in it, pretty much). Other options include doing one of her dances, singing the Happy Birthday to You song in your native language whatever you think will get your message and love for Shakira across to her!
You can do any or all of these options, youre not limited to just a picture, video, an audio recording, etc!

FOR AUDIO SUBMISSIONS
-Speak clearly!
-Please do not play music in the background.
FOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
-Must be in a standard video format (avi, wmv, mp4, mov, etc.). Please try to avoid low quality cell phone recordings unless absolutely necessary.
-Please do not play music in the background (unless youre dancing).
FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS
-You must be in the photo youre submitting. Photoshopped collages of pictures of Shakira will not be used; this video is for her to see her fans, not herself!
THERE IS NO SET TIME LIMIT FOR AUDIO OR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS. Of course, said length should be within reason (no need to tell Shakira your life story!), but I will not set a definite time limit.
MY ATTACHMENT IS TOO BIG. HOW DO I SEND YOU MY FILE?
There are many sites you can upload files to. These sites will upload your file, then give you a link to download said file:

Simply include the download link the sites give you in your email, along with the required information mentioned above.
